I started this site as a test area where I could practice some RSS feeds, SEO techniques and other junk. Then I added some jokes, games and other useless nonsense. As the site started to get more traffic, I thought I would try clean up the mess a bit and actually try to make it look nice. My site is hosted at WebHost4Life. I think the servers are in California. They're pretty decent. Everything you could want in a hosting service except they don't allow porno sites!GoDaddy Hosting Just a quick note about GoDaddy hosting. GoDaddy is a great domain registrar and is where my domains are registered. But as far as a shared hosting company, in my opinion there are better options.
Several friends and colleagues have signed up for GoDaddy shared hosting only to by stumped by the hosting control panel used by GoDaddy. So, in an attempt to help, I have seen this very confusing piece of work. If you are also confused by this and are annoyed by the fast time-out of GoDaddy's FTP connections, try WebHost4Life. You get much more for your basic Windows Server account and the host control panel is much easier to use.
